Mir ging
es wieder richtig gut – das zeigte sich vor allem an meiner Reiselust! Wie
überall auf diesem Planeten macht es keinen grossen Spass am Wochenende zu
verreisen, da dann zu viele Leute unterwegs sind… und ich hab es lieber ruhig
und profitiere von den tieferen Preisen unter der Woche! Zudem hatte ich vor in
meiner Zeit hier alle Emirate zu bereisen… Beim Recherchieren war mir das Pearl
Hotel im kleinen Emirat Umm al Quwain aufgefallen – also nichts wie hin!
I was really feeling well again - this was particularly evident in my desire to travel! As everywhere on this planet, it is not a lot of fun travelling at the weekend, because then too many people are on the roads and everywhere... and I prefer it calm and benefitting from the lower prices during the week! In addition, I intended to travel all the Emirates here while being around... When I did some research, I noticed the Pearl Hotel in the small Emirate Umm al Quwain - so come on, let’s go!

Um 15 Uhr
war ich endlich bereit die 90 km und 1 1/2 Stunden unter die Räder zu nehmen.
Unterwegs musste ich tanken und das ist ein erfreuliches Muss im Emirat Dubai:
Alle Tankstellen sind bedient, meist mit sehr freundlichen Tankwarten, und die
Preise sind überall gleich, etwa 70 EUR Cent der Liter – auch wenn man den
Tankwagen bestellt! : )
At 3 pm I finally was ready to take the 90 km and 1 1/2 hours under the wheels. On the way I had to fill up the tank and this is a rewarding must in the Emirate of Dubai: All petrol stations are served, mostly with very friendly attendants, and the prices are the same everywhere, about 70 EUR cent - even if you order the tank truck! : )

Um 16:30 Uhr
fuhr ich zielstrebig im Pearl Hotel & SPA in Umm Al Quwain (https://pearlhotel.ae) vor, wie in Hatta vertraute ich
meinem Instinkt… und wieder lag ich goldrichtig! Ich erhielt ein hübsches
Zimmer in vorderster Front beim Meer und richtete mich erst mal für 3 Nächte
ein… Dann ging ich auf Entdeckungstour auf dem Hotelgelände: Das Hotel hat 4
Restaurants, 2 Swimmingpools und ein SPA – das werde ich alles während meinem
Aufenthalt hier genauer unter die Lupe nehmen…
At 4:30 pm I drove determinedly up at the Pearl Hotel & Spa in Umm Al Quwain (https://pearlhotel.ae), as in Hatta I trusted my instinct ... and again I was spot-on! I got a pretty room in the forefront of the ocean and first set myself up for 3 nights... Thereafter I went on a discovery tour on the hotel site: The hotel has 4 restaurants, 2 swimming pools and a spa - I will inspect everything more precisely during my stay here…

Zum
Abendessen wählte ich das Little Bavaria, wie der Name andeutet: mit einer deftigen
deutschen Speisekarte! Ich hatte seit 2 Jahren kein solches Menu mehr in den
Händen gehalten… und die Qual der Wahl! Schlussendlich bestellte ich ein Kalbscordonbleu
mit Bratkartoffeln und Rotkraut… und das mit echtem Speck! -Und wie ich
schlemmte!!! : ))

For dinner I chose the Little Bavaria, as the name suggests: with a hearty
German menu! I hadn't held such a menu in my hands for 2 years... and was
spoilt for choice! In the end I ordered a veal cordon bleu with fried potatoes
and red cabbage... and it came with real bacon! – What a feast I had!!! : ))
