Indischen Ozean Meer mit 2 Schlafzimmer und 2
Badezimmer gemietet... mehr Platz als ich benötigte! Ich packte alle Koffer aus
und richtete mich richtig ein...

I unpacked all my suitcases and set myself up properly...

Ich ging
auf Entdeckungstour meiner Umgebung Dahariz und spazierte dem unendlichen
weissen Strand entlang Richtung Westen... einfach nur herrlich bei einem
Lüftchen bei Temperaturen um 30 Grad (nachts ist es 25)!
: ) Auf dem Rückweg fand ich das hübsche Café Zwara mit dem liebenswerten und
sehr interessierten Mustafa – ich erkor
es als mein Café hier! : )
I went on a discovery tour of my surroundings Dahariz and walked along the endless white beach towards the west... simply wonderful with a breeze at temperatures around 30 centigrade (at night it's 25)! : ) On the way back I found the prettyy Café Zwara with the lovely and very interested Mustafa – I choose it to be my café here! : )

lief ich in die andere Richtung: Osten. Auch dort schien der weisse Strand
nicht aufzuhören. Zum Schwimmen war es ideal bei 28 Grad Wassertemperatur...
For a run, I ran in the other direction: east. The white beach didn't seem to end there either. It was ideal for swimming with water temperature of 28 centigrade...

Mein
erstes Abendessen auswärts nahm ich im Crowne Plaza Hotel (https://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/gb/en/salalah/sllss/hoteldetail?cm_mmc=GoogleMaps-_-CP-_-OM-_-SLLSS) ein, nur gerade 20 Minuten zu
Fuss auf dem Strand. In diesem Hotel logierte ich vor 15 Jahren - damals im
April war es hier ziemlich neblig und das neue Restaurant Blue Ocean stand noch
nicht. Aber ich sass damals ebenfalls am Strand und genoss einen Lobster! : )
My first dinner out I had at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (https://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/gb/en/salalah/sllss/hoteldetail?cm_mmc=GoogleMaps-_-CP-_-OM-_-SLLSS), just a 20 minutes’ walk to the beach. I stayed in this hotel 15 years ago - back then in April it was pretty foggy and the new Blue Ocean restaurant wasn't there yet. But I was also sitting on the beach and enjoying a lobster! : )

- klar probierte ich es aus. Als ich am Fisch essen sass, begrüsste mich
Mohammed und ich antwortete auf Arabisch... er blieb stehen und fragte, ob er
sich an meinen Tisch setzen darf... und so kamen wir ins Gespräch und ich fand
heraus, dass er Exkursionen anbietet und morgen mit 2 Italienern in die Wüste
geht. Wüste!? Da will ich immer hin! Morgen würde er die Italiener fragen, ob
sie etwas dagegen haben, wenn ich mitkommen würde...

In the building where I live downstairs there is the much-visited
Rosalie restaurant (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090715506327)
- of course I tried it out. As I had a fish, Mohammed greeted me and I answered
in Arabic... he stopped and asked if he could sit at my table... and so we
started talking and I found out that he offers excursions and will be going to
the desert with 2 Italians tomorrow. Desert!? I always want to go there!
Tomorrow he would ask the Italians if they minded if I joined...
