Ich hatte einen totalen Schock, als mir
meine Bank kündigte und drohte meine Konti zu sperren - damit hatte ich
wirklich nicht gerechnet, vor allem weil ich ein paar Wochen vor meiner Abfahrt
auf unbestimmte Zeit im April 2022 noch einen Termin abgemacht hatte und
persönlich vorbeiging um die Bank über mein Vorhaben zu informiere: Es wurde
abgeklärt, ich erhielt das OK und hinterlegte die Adresse meiner Tochter, die
meine Post erledigt. Ich bin ein sehr unabhängiger und freiheitsliebender
Mensch und hatte Panik: Was mache ich ohne mein hart Erspartes? Zudem kamen
meine alten Traumata zurück, die mich in eine Ohnmacht trieben… Gefühle sind wie Tentakel: Sie
zogen sich zurück und mein Geist drehte sich im Kreis… Meine fast geheilte Haut
reagierte mit Beulen wie Brandwunden am ganzen Körper – es war um aus der Haut zu
fahren! : (
I was in a complete shock when my bank gave me notice and threatened to block my accounts - I really didn't expect that at all, especially because I had made an appointment a few weeks before I left for an indefinite time in April 2022 and went there in person to inform about my plan: It was clarified, I received the OK and provided the address of my daughter, who handles my mail. I am a very independent and freedom-loving person and got in panic: What would I do without my savings? In addition, my old traumas came back, which drove me into powerlessness... Feelings are like tentacles: They draw back and my mind went in circles... My almost healed skin reacted with bumps like burns all over my body - it was almost enough to drive me mad! : (

Es ist schwierig an etwas zu glauben in
einer solchen Situation... alles,
was ich tun konnte war, mich meinen diszipliniert angeeigneten Ritualen
hinzugeben: Atemübungen, Meditation, Yoga, Jogging, Arabisch mit Duolingo und
mich mit der Natur und meinen inneren
Kräften zu verbinden... loszulassen und mich
auf Positives zu konzentrieren... Mein
Verstand suchte einen Sinn: Das Ganze musste doch für etwas
gut sein!? – Vielleicht
würden sich nach dieser Hürde meine Traumata endgültig auflösen?
In such a situation it's difficult to believe in anything... all I could do was surrender to my disciplined rituals: breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, going for runs, Arabic with Duolingo and connect with nature and my inner powers... to let go and concentrate on positive things... My mind was looking for meaning: It must be good for something!? – Maybe after this hurdle my traumas would finally disappear?

Zum Glück hatte ich diese Wohnung von Al
Mansoor Grand Apartments (https://www.facebook.com/p/Al-Mansoor-International-Development-100068046113740/?paipv=0&eav=AfYuuLs5JrphX1IdNzTStxMDP66wkhAlPjwiuNfOEI_ECdGxmlQJBny8n98GedriXgY&_rdr) hier in
Dahariz, Salalah für einen Monat gemietet.
Wirklich geniessen konnte ich meine Zeit nicht und es raubte mir den Schlaf. Aber
ich versuchte nach vorne zu schauen und Schritt für Schritt meine notwendigsten
Dinge zu erledigen: Mein Omani Visum musste verlängert werden, ein UAE Visum musste beantragen werden, ich musste
mich um meine Weiterreise kümmern…
und meine Bank auferlegte mir zudem noch meinen Pass in der
Schweizer Botschaft in Muskat beglaubigen zu lassen
(und mit 2 Formularen im Original per Post an sie zu senden) und eine neue Bank zu finden,
die Nomaden wie mich akzeptiert! – Alles nicht einfach von hier aus mit schwachem
Internet…

Luckily, I had rented this apartment at Al Mansoor Grand Apartments (https://www.facebook.com/p/Al-Mansoor-International-Development-100068046113740/?paipv=0&eav=AfYuuLs5JrphX1IdNzTStxMDP66wkhAlPjwiuNfOEI_ECdGxmlQJBny8n98GedriXgY&_rdr) here in Dahariz, Salalah for a
month. I couldn't really enjoy my time and it robbed my sleep. But I tried to look forward and take care of my most
necessary things step by step: My Omani visa had to be extended, an UAE visa had to be applied
for, I had to plan my
on
ward journey... and my bank also imposed having my passport notarized by the Swiss Embassy in Muscat (and
mailing it with 2 forms in originals to
them) and finding a new bank that accepts nomads like me! – And all of it is not easy from here with
weak internet…
