Gestern
hatte ich den schönen Strand Umm al Quwain entdeckt und heute wollte ich ihn
abjoggen… Kurz vor 9 Uhr fuhr ich los und hatte den Strand fast für mich
alleine. Ich rannte die ca. 1,5 km lange Strecke hin und zurück von einer Mole
zur andern barfuss und im Bikini – so wie ich es am liebsten tue. : ) Natürlich
beansprucht auch hier ein Betrieb ein Stück des Strandes für sich mit
Schildern: Betreten verboten! : ( Aber was ist ein Tag, ohne etwas Verbotenes
zu tun!? – Ich ignorierte die Schilder und fand den Weg zur nächsten
unbezwingbaren Mole. Leider sehen die verlassenen Strände ganz anders aus:
voller Müll! : (
Yesterday I had discovered the beautiful Umm al Quwain beach and today I wanted to run it... Shortly before 9 am I drove off and had the beach almost to myself. I ran the 1.5 km long stretch back and forth from one pier to the other barefoot and in my bikini - just the way I like it. : ) Of course, here too an establishment claims a piece of the beach for itself with signs: Crossing is strictly prohibited! : ( But what is a day without doing something forbidden!? - I ignored the signs and found my way to the next unconquerable pier. Unfortunately, the deserted beaches look completely different: full of trash! : (

ich ein letztes grosses Frühstück – diesmal mit echten Speck, denn man weiss
nie, wann er wieder mal aufgetischt wird! ; )
Back at the Pearl Hotel & Spa (https://pearlhotel.ae) I enjoyed one last big breakfast - this time with real bacon, because you never know when it will be served again! ; )

Um 13 Uhr
war ich bereit mich von Diana und dem netten Hotelpersonal zu verabschieden und
meine Rückfahrt nach Dubai anzutreten. Vieeelen Dank liebe Diana, für eine kostenlose Übernachtung – das ist eine Anerkennung für meine gratis Blogging-Arbeit mit der Absicht gute Vibrationen zu verbreiten! : )) Ich fuhr jedoch nicht direkt, sondern
mit einem Abstecher um die Wüstenseite der Emirats Umm al Quwain zu entdecken…
Ich begegnete vielen Kamelen, einige sogar auf der Strasse! : ) In Al Lubsah
gibt es eine Kamelrennstrecke, nur war heute gerade kein Rennen angesagt.
At 1 pm I was ready to say goodbye to Diana and the lovely hotel staff and start my journey back to Dubai. Thanks you sooo much dear Diana for one night complimentary stay - this is an acknowledgment for my free blogging work spreading good vibes! : )) However, I didn't drive directly but with a detour to discover the desert side of the Emirate Umm al Quwain... I encountered many camels, some even on the road! : ) There is a camel racing track in Al Lubsah, but no race today.

Als ich
in der Oasenstadt Falaj Al Mualla bei der Festung ankam, sprach mich ein netter
Einheimische an und forderte mich auf ihm zu folgen: Ganz stolz führte er mich
zu den 3 Wachtürmen seiner Heimatstadt. : )
When I arrived at the fort of the oasis town Falaj Al Mualla, a nice local spoke to me and asked me to follow him: He proudly led me to the 3 watchtowers of his hometown. : )

in Discovery Gardens Dubai hatte ich grosses Bedürfnis mich vom Strand- und
Wüstensand zu befreien – gut, dass das Olive Beauty’s Hut (https://nashathrafeek.wixsite.com/olivebeautyhut)
in nur gerade 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar ist…

Back home in Discovery Gardens Dubai, I felt a great need to free myself
from the beach and desert sands - good thing that Olive Beauty's Hut (https://nashathrafeek.wixsite.com/olivebeautyhut)
is only a 5-minute walk away...
