In Dubai ist nicht nur fast alles möglich, es ist
auch sehr teuer... Hab ich ein Glück, dass ich Praveens Wohnung in Discovery
Gardens benutzen darf – ich bin ja so dankbar mein guter Freund Praveen, vielen

Not only is almost everything possible in Dubai, it's also very expensive... I'm lucky that I am able to use Praveen's apartment in Discovery Gardens - I'm so grateful, my good friend Praveen, thanks a lot! : )

Trotzdem verspüre ich Reiselust und will so viel
wie möglich von den Emiraten entdecken... Als ich mein Zelt bei Murad von
Decathlon (https://decathlon.ae) kaufte, schwärmte er von Hatta und zeigte mir seine tollen Fotos - so
wurde Hatta zu meinem nächsten Ziel. Und da ich die Massen meide und vorhatte werktags
zu reisen, erübrigten sich Reservierungen... aber trotzdem machte ich mich
etwas schlau im Internet…
Nevertheless, I feel the urge to travel and want to discover as much of the Emirates as possible... When I bought my tent with Murad from Decathlon (https://decathlon.ae), he just got back from Hatta and showed me his great photos - that's how Hatta became my next destination. And since I avoid the crowds and planned to travel on weekdays, making reservations was unnecessary... but I still did some research on the Internet...

Am frühen Dienstag Nachmittag fuhr ich los. Zuerst
nach Bur zum Al Khaleej Center, wo ich bei Najmat jr. problemlos meinen neuen
JBL Flip 6 umtauschte, den ich vor einer Woche bei seinem Vater gekauft hatte
(der Sound war nicht lupenrein). : ) Von dort ging es 150 km und 1 1/2 Stunden
durch das Emirat Sharjah an die omanische Grenze in die Berge nach Hatta - was
für ein tolles Gefühl zu reisen und Neues zu sehen!!!
I left early afternoon on Tuesday. First to Bur to the Al Khaleej Center, where I met Najmat jr. to exchange easily my new JBL Flip 6, which I had bought from his father a week ago (the sound was not flawless). : ) From there it was 150 km and 1 1/2 hours through the Emirate of Sharjah to the Omani border into the mountains to Hatta - what a great feeling to travel and see new things!!!

Um 16:30 Uhr fuhr ich im JA Hatta Fort Hotel (https://www.jaresortshotels.com/dubai/ja-hatta-fort-hotel) vor, das mir nicht nur im
Internet ins Auge gestochen ist – wenn man in Hatta am grossen Verkehrskreisel
ankommt, ist es unübersehbar! Ich erkundigte mich über die Preise und war
überrascht, wie hoch sie waren… und entschied mein Glück woanders zu suchen. Ich
war schon fast beim Auto, als mich Nabeel zurückrief und mir einen guten Preis für
ein atemberaubendes Zimmer machte! : ) Ich konnte mein Glück kaum fassen und
genoss erst mal den fantastischen Sonnenuntergang auf meinem Balkon. Dann
richtete ich mich ein und der Hunger und Neugier auf meine Umgebung führte mich
zu einem frühen Abendessen in der Pizzeria La Farina (https://www.facebook.com/lafarinapizzapasta). Als ich zurück ins Hotel kam,
erwartete mich ein riesiger Früchtekorb – sooo lieb und aufmerksam! Wenn ich
mich hier nicht wohl fühlen werde!? : )

At 4:30 pm I pulled up to the JA Hatta Fort Hotel (https://www.jaresortshotels.com/dubai/ja-hatta-fort-hotel), which
caught my eye not only on the Internet - when you arrive at the big traffic roundabout
in Hatta, you can't oversee it! I inquired about the prices and was surprised
at how high they were... and decided to try my luck somewhere else. I was
almost at the car when Nabeel called me back and gave me a good price for a
stunning room! : ) I couldn't believe my luck and enjoyed the fantastic sunset
on my balcony. Then I settled in and hunger and curiosity about my surroundings
led me to an early dinner at Pizzeria La Farina (https://www.facebook.com/lafarinapizzapasta). When I
got back to the hotel, a huge fruit basket was waiting for me - so sweet and
thoughtful! What if I don't feel comfortable here!? : )
